“I Know the Plans I Have for You.”

This box is a relic from my mom’s childhood.  It’s a valve body packing crate her father brought home from a construction site when she was a little girl.

It’s been used for moving, for storage, for furniture, it’s been painted and repainted.

When I was a little boy it was my toy box, painted red and black with an eagle decal.

I remember when I was a little boy hiding in this box in a game of hide and seek.

Recently I found it out in her barn and decided to restore it.

This box has seen a lot.

The Bible verse added to the restoration is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord”.

Plans for a little girl named Frances in the 1940’s.  Plans for hope and a future. Plans to prosper.

Plans for a family.

Thank You Lord.

He’s Love Endures Forever.
