Jonah: Squirrel Hawking
The season is winding down. Jonah has had quiet the year.
Trapped him in late August. Bit by a rattlesnake on our first hunt. Luckily given anti venom and survived. Took a month to recover and then begin our season anew.
Survived a hurricane. The woods are like walking in a maze of giant pickup sticks.
Survived a lifetime snowstorm but got to go squirrel hunting in the snow.
Now we are close to the end. Time to fatten him up. Then finally say Goodby and Godspeed to Jonah the Reluctance Preacher.
