The Lion of God - Abigail Part 4
Abigail found herself in a great room in the form of an expansive seemingly never ending circle.
In the center of the room was a white throne. Two cherubim angels covered the white throne. One on each side. Each using 3 sets of wings to cover the throne. Yet even with that covering a brilliant penetrating white light radiated from the throne.
To the right of the white throne sat another throne. One made of pure gold. A man sat on it. A man dressed in white linen, with a golden sash around his waist and a golden crown on his head.
Above the two thrones was a cloud. A living cloud that towered up over the thrones like a tornado spout but without a circular motion.
The cloud moved like a great flock of starlings with an ebb and a flow. As it moved, it murmured and groaned in sounds unintelligible. Tongues of fire flickering thought out. Thunder rolled and lighting peeled from it, occasionally sending a sharp cracking rumble throughout the room then dissipating into more groaning.
The vast room was filled with angels. All types of angels.
Archangels, Seraph, Cherubs, Thrones Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities and Guardians. Tens of tens of thousands of angels. A sea of angels. Each one called into this great room to give an account.
Abigail watched as one by one, as each angel was called by name to step forward and stand before the two thrones.
Each angel giving an account. Each being asked a question. Each giving an answer.
She watched. She was amazed to discover that there was such a difference in the angels. Some were huge. Most much bigger than Ariel. Some were smaller.
Some looking like mighty warriors in amour. Some looked like unassuming quiet monks.
Some were beautiful. Some plain to put it politely. More elemental.
All stood before HIS presence. She watched as each angel spoke.
As she watched, she discovered this “accounting” wasn’t a trial, it wasn’t a judgement. It was more like a confession.
Each stood before the blinding white light emancipating from the great white throne.
That pure white light penetrating the thoughts, motive and intents of the heart.
She heard a voice like thunder ask, “What say you, my son.”
One by one each angel stood before the LIGHT with head bowed, and each responded to the question with …… a Confession.
Each one Confessed to the Presence. Their shortcomings. Their failures. Their faults. Their prejudices. Their trauma. Their heart.
She heard each one confess their need. Their longing. Their desire. Their commitment to fulfilling their purpose.
Each one confessed and the Presence listened to each one. One at a time. One by one. One after another For the entire multitude.
After each confession the man on the golden throne would speak on behalf of the angel being questioned. Giving a blessing or insight, being an advocate.
Then Abigail heard the archangel Uriel call Ariel’s name. Uriel was reading from a book of flames.
She held her breath as she watched Ariel step forward. He looked small. At 8 ft he was significantly smaller than most Angels. He wasn’t as strong looking. He had no armor and he didn’t carry a sword like most guardian angels.
She watched as Ariel approached the Throne and bowed his head.
She heard the voice like thunder, “What say you my son?.”
